J&R Funding is a start-up brokerage firm that offers competitive compensation, flexible work hours, and a supportive work environment. They are looking for Mortgage Loan Originators who can generate leads, build relationships, and close loans with our clients.
You will be responsible for:
· Prospecting and generating leads from various sources, such as online platforms, networking events, referrals, etc.
· Conducting initial consultations with potential clients to assess their financial situation, needs, and goals.
· Educating clients on different loan products and programs, and guiding them to the best option for their situation.
· Collecting and analyzing financial information to determine loan eligibility.
· Assisting clients in completing loan applications and gathering required documentation.
· Submitting loan applications and following up with underwriters and processors.
· Communicating with clients, realtors, title companies, and other parties throughout the loan process.
· Collaborating with internal teams, such as escrow and underwriting, to facilitate a smooth loan closing process.
· Following up with clients after closing to ensure excellent customer service and ensuring client satisfaction.
· Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations, including TILA and Fair Housing regulations.
To be successful in this role, you should have:
· A valid NMLS license or the ability to obtain one within 90 days of hire
· A minimum of 2 years of loan originator experience is required
· A proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals and customer satisfaction ratings
· A solid knowledge of mortgage products, guidelines, and regulations
· A high level of professionalism, integrity, and ethics
· A self-motivated, proactive, and results-oriented attitude
· A team player mentality and a willingness to learn and grow
A proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software
· A reliable internet connection and a home office setup
